This Nord-Lock washer can be used in both Metric and Inch/Imperial applications for screw/bolt sizes M33 or 1-1/4 respectively. The wedge-locking washer hardness must be greater than the hardness of the mating surfaces in order to assure its mechanical function.
This washer is through hardened to ensure it is harder than the bolt and contact surface. It is also treated with Delta Protekt®, a surface coating that provides excellent corrosion protection. This makes it an ideal solution for all general applications and for use with all common bolt grades, including 4.8, 5.6, 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9.
Note: Nord Lock washers with an enlarged outer diameter (SP) have the same inner diameter as the standard washers, and are designed to be used together with flanged bolts and nuts (ISO 4161,4162) on oversized and slotted holes, or on sensitive surfaces and soft materials.
